What's RSS Feed?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a way for websites to
summarize their content, such as news articles or blog entries, and deliver
headlines, descriptions, and links for easy, clutter-free access to the
information you want most. The information is delivered through a "feed." The
feeds are collected by an RSS newsreader application.
How to use an RSS Feed?
An RSS newsreader, sometimes called a news aggregator, sets up an automated
delivery of information (a feed) to your desktop. It lets you read the
information in the same newsreader interface. A newsreader may also help
organize feeds for easy referral.
Many web browsers, including
Mozilla Firefox and
Apple Safari (Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger only) browsers, can read and display
RSS feeds.
RSS Feed on Mobile
Similar to computer desktop, many mobile devices can support RSS as their data feeder. As long as the RSS
Agregator application and online connection (either GPRS or WIFI) exist in the mobile devices, it can extract
the data in the similar way to the desktop computer.
Note: Right-click or copy the Sidharta RSS feed
link and paste it into your RSS feed reader.
