In 1986 he studied Visual Communication in ISI Yogyakarta. Ever since he started his study in ISI, he already got his scholarship of 'Talent and Best Achievement', followed by few others 'Recognition of Excellence' in Graphic Design. 1997 - 1998 Throughout these years, he wrote children serial books and also became illustrator of children story books which were published in several media in Jakarta. This period of time gave him such a strong personality that when he became a painter, his works were much inspired by his experience around children. His early works mainly featured children's activity, their daily life, and their happiness among their family and friends. Ahmad Su’udhi portrayed the children with a bright face, wide eyes, cute and innocent expression. His recent works were the baby series. The sense of innocence of the babies was connected to the modern way of living. He has often participated in group exhibitions since 1980 until now in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia and Hongkong. He has held solo exhibitions in 2007 at Zola Zolu Gallery Bandung and in 2005 in Jakarta.
Amrus Natalsya is a sculptor and a painter, who graduated from Indonesian Fine Art Academy (Akademi Seni Rupa Indonesia/ASRI), Yogyakarta, in 1962. Later in 1961, along with Sutopo, Isa Hasanda, Misbach, Djokopekik, Gumelar, and several others, he found the Sanggar Bumi Tarung in Yogyakarta. He was a member of LEKRA/People's Cultural Institute. During the communist purge, followed by the abortive coup in October 1965, he was imprisoned and banned from the major exhibitions.
He is a Bachelor degree graduate, Fine Art at the Indonesia Institute of Yogyakarta in 2012 and a Master Degree graduate, Fine Art at the same institution in 2014.
He has participated in many group exhibitions with several other artists in Yogyakarta and in Jakarta from 2016 to 2020. He has held solo exhibitions in Yogyakarta between 2010 and 2014.
Arfial Arsad Hakim was born in Medan on July 11, 1950 and grew up until adolescent in Danau Ranu, Banding Agung, South Sumatera. He learned painting from Sekar Gunung ( Ki Heru Wiryono ). He then continued his study in 1972 - 1978 in the higher education FSRD ITB in painting Department. Since he was a student Arfial has joint more than 100 exhibitions nationally as well as internationally. In 1980 Arfial began teaching at Fakultas SASDAYA UNS Solo and he lives in Solo.
Atika Hariyadi’s intrigue for the world of art propelled him to explore its depths. He studied painting since 1977 and employs an interesting use of the pallette knife. He experimented with diverse styles, but was most suited to a natural expressionist manner. His first exhibition was in 1994, and the artist has since appeared at shows and collections in Malaysia, Singapore and the United States of America.

Bonny Setiawan studied at the Art Academy in Yogyakarta (ASRI). Both of his parents were active painters. Living in Yogyakarta, Bonny's inspiration is derived from this lively city. The thematic content of his work therefore reflects old Javanese traditions, such as herbs sellers, Javanese weddings, or Wayang Kulit. He also explores topics that could reflect the life of any large and modern city, illustrating scenes such as carnivals, the circus, mask festivals or showtime. Bonny's work is therefore defined by a typically juxtaposition of traditional and modern life to demonstrate the tensions at simultaneous play in the human experience.
Dadang M.A graduated from the School of Fine Arts at the IKIP Teacher's College in Bandung. As well as being an artist, Dadang is also a designer of esthetic elements for the interior of hotels, offices and so forth. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1977.
Daeng has had a passion drawing since he was a small child. In 1992, he joined ISI and participated in nine group exhibitions located around Bandun. In 1994, he won a national painting competition in Borobudur amd during the year of 1996 he participated in a group exhibition at ITB Art Fair and received an award from Asean. From 2002 to 2010 he has had a group exhibition with 3 other artists at Hotel Papandayan in Bandung, another group exhibition with 5 other artists at Hotel Panghegar, Bandung; zs well as an exhibition in Meda Prada Jakarta Gallery and an exhibition in Jambore Ancol. His workings are consumed by locals and have even caught the attention of foreign collectors.
After graduated from Senior High School (SMA) in 1991, Dirot went to Bali, learned painting and met the painter Mr. Sudarso was close to Affandi the greatest painter for 3 years and then Dirot lived in Bali to Dig up sciences about modern painting by himself. In 1996 Dirot returned home to his hometown Indramayu and started to analyzed about social environment, culture, especially fisherman's life, beside that Dirot liked to catch the fish just delivered his hobby, then the story about fisherman would be unforgettable in his memory. In 2000 Dirot moved to Jakarta and begun to paint around the life of fisherman within the outside spirit. In 2003 collaborated with Prajaniti Hindu Indonesia Foundation Dirot's paintings were exhibited in Museum National Jakarta. Many exhibitions have been performed solo and group, Dirot's creations loved by many collectors local and international.

Gunawan Bagea was born into the prestigious, artistic family of Tresna Suryawan. His grandfather was the Indonesian master Hendra Gunawan. Gunawan's esteemed paintings capture a freedom of expression and exploration for uncharted streams of creativity. During his childhood, Bagea was taught to paint from his late father.
The works of Gung Man, especially his depictions of rural landscapes, can remind the viewer of paintings by Arie Smit. Nevertheless, the artist maintains a distinct personal touch, as seen in the painting, “Vase and Flower”.
Hassan Pratama learned to paint from his father R. Tohny Joesoef at the studio Ligar Sari in 1964, Bandung. He entered the Faculty of Art and Design at the ITB (Bandung) in 1985. Amongst his awards, Pratama has won a painting competition at Tokyo (Japan) and Poland, was the finalist for painting the National Committee of Fine Art of West Java (Bandung), Best architectural sketch at the ITB (Bandung), and Winner of a painting competition held by the National Sarinah Magazine (Jakarta).

Iwan Sulistyo has won the honor of several awards since he was a young painter. While still in elementary school, Iwan already showed signs of his passion for painting, beginning his debut by making numerous pictures of his favorite movie stars, of animals, and natural sceneries using color pencil, ballpoint and/or watercolors. His high-school years were spent in Semarang, where he participated in a drawing competition organized by the Gallendra Art Shop in 1970 and, there, for the very first time, he came in touch with oil-colors. He won First Prize. Since then, he has never stopped painting. JB Iwan Sulistyo brushed up his skills by studying Fine Art at Trisakti University; he also took up one year painting classes at the Jakarta Art Institute and was actively involved in the community of artists Sanggar as he became member of Sanggar Prima Devita (1983) and Sanggar Kamboja Bali (1991). Krijono was born into a family interested and passionate about Art. His father was a collector of paintings and owned the Harris Art Gallery; his mother owned a Batik factory. In 1970, he studied at the Indonesian Fine Art Academy (Akademi Seni Rupa Indonesia/ASRI) Yogyakarta. His artworks are often brightly colored and express his own flamboyant personality.
Ledek Sukadi received formal training in the Arts at the Fine Art High School (SMSR) Yogyakarta. Since 1989, he has joined numerous group exhibitions at venues across Jakarta, Bali, Yogyakarta and Japan. He has also attained several Art Awards since his childhood.
Maria Tjui started painting when she was a member of S.I.M (Young Indonesian Artist) under the guidance of S. Sudjojono. In 1961 - 1963, she studied at the Indonesia Academy of Fine Arts, Yogyakarta, majoring in Sculpture. In 1967-1970 she made a tour of several Asian countries. When she returned to Indonesia, she exhibited her works around Indonesia.
Since childhood, Mozes Misdy drew in the sand at the beach or on the river side where he was playing. To him, painting was an integral part of his life and a gift from God. He has participated in several exhibitions including solo exhibitions in Malaysia (1969), Thailand (1969), at the Museum of Darwin, Australia (1973), Museum National, Jakarta (1992) and he has further participated in group exhibitions in Toronto, Canada (1994).
Muchlis Fachri “Muklay” has been interested in visual art since he studied at Jakarta State University and still actively participating in group exhibitions. Together with Puji, he decided to create a merchandise collaboration project called "Junknotdead" @junknotdead_id in 2013. After the Indonesia proclamation, Otto Djaya was given the opportunity to study art at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, as well as enroll at the Faculty of the Humanities of the University of Amsterdam for studies in Philosophy. He went on a study-tour of the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland. Otto held the position of Vice Chairman in the Art division of the Cultural Centre in Jakarta. He participated in the Exposition Le Grand Prix de Peinture en Monaco in Monte Carlo, and in the Biennial Exhibition in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Besides his solo exhibition in Jakarta, he often took part in group exhibitions in Jakarta and Melbourne, Australia.
He studied painting under the guidance of his senior in Jatiwarna Art Society Jakarta. He has participated in several group exhibitions in Jakarta and abroad.

Rosar is the son of Basar, a well-known artist. He has been nominated as a three eras painter. Rosar mastered the art of painting as a young child from the guidance of his famous father. He is nevertheless, mostly a self-taught artist in nature. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions since 1972 till the present.
His work expresses his response to Jakarta over a forty-year period, from the time I first arrived as a youth in the late 1970s to when I returned full time in the early 1990s.
Originally trained as a documentary photographer, one of the first modes of expression was photographing posters on walls around Jakarta. His current mixed media work is he way of creating that process myself, of choosing text and building layers of images onto a frame that is then subjected to the random effects of weathering, stripping, and other chemical reactions in order to create a scenario in which luck plays a significant part of the final product.
Royatna is also called Yayat Jukut by his artist friends. His artworks often show grass, as it holds a personal significance to him in its representation of life. He has held numerous exhibitions in Yogyakarta and Bandung.
Rudy TS graduated from FISIP Universitas Indonesia. He is a self-taught artist, who is also guided by the literature of Aleson Taylor, Helena Spanjaard, and H. Tonny Herlambang. The artist also learned from observation and experience. He started to paint in 1974. After he left the Jakarta International School in 1991, he decided to dedicate his life to painting.

Soki is one of the many popular painters from the Balinese Young Artists group. His works are unique and brightly coloured. His art is distinguished by an ornamental and symmetrical design of figures in his composition. Soki has received an award from The Young Artist Exhibition, in Paris, France. He has participated in the Bali Art Festival at Taman Budaya (Denpasar), as well as various exhibitions in Jakarta and abroad. This includes the Art of Bali exhibition at the East-West Centre, Honolulu-Hawaii, in 1988.

He began to study painting when he was still young under the guidance of his father Parlindungan Lubis. He also learnt painting from the senior painter Anwar Isa and Ipe Ma'aroef. His works have been attained by collectors in Indonesia and abroad such as Australia and England. Since 2001, he has actively been participating in several group exhibitions, among others Jambore Artwork Exhibition and exhibition in Sahid Jaya Hotel.
A self-taught painter, Tatang Ganar joined the People's Painters Studio (Sanggar Pelukis Rakyat), where he attributed the development of his artistic ability from Affandi, Sudarso, and Hendra Gunawan. His paintings often reveal a particular interest with the lives of common people. His artworks are furthermore presented in various important collections, including that of former President Soekarno and Vice President Adam Malik.

Tresna mastered the art of painting as a young child from the direct guidance of his father, the renowned painter Hendra Gunawan. Tresna completed his education at the Akademi Seni Rupa Indonesia in 1962, and in 1964, joined the Akademi Pertamanan (to study garden landscaping) in Jakarta. In 1974, Tresna designed a 30-meter water fall and created an artificial lake at the Indonesian national cultural exhibition Taman Mini Indonesia Indah at the request of Ibu Tien Suharto, the former Indonesian first lady. Tresna has been very active in the art world, and since 1974, he has participated in many group and solo exhibitions in Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Bali and Japan (with SSIA Japan Indonesia). In 2004, Tresna participated in the group exhibition “Learning By Doing” at the Affandi Museum in Yogyakarta.
He graduated from the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Yogyakarta State University majoring in Fine Arts Education.

He started painting when he was a child under guidance of senior painter S. Toyo in Surabaya. In 1968-1989 he moved to Bali and learned painting under guidance of Mr. Hirakawa from Japan. In 1990 - 1998 he moved to Bandung and learned painting under guidance of senior painter Barli Sasmitawinata at Rangga Gempol Studio. In 1994 he was nominated for the Philip Morris Award. His works were collected by collectors. He participated in several exhibitions in Indonesia and overseas.
Yayat completed his education in the Fine Arts at ISI Yogyakarta. He has been actively participating in exhibitions since 2000, which have included venues in Semarang, Yogyakarta, Magelang and Jakarta. His awards boast Best Watercolor Painting at FSR ISI Yogyakarta, the Best Sketch at FSR ISI Yogyakarta, one of the 10 Nominations of Pratisara Affandi Adi Karya, one of the 20 Nominations for the portrait of Megawati (Solo), and one of the 20 Nominations for a mural painting in Batang, Central Java.
