Artist’s statement: How great the Creator is to give extraordinary
grace in the form of rain. Rain gives life on the other hand as a
disaster. Land is a natural resource for the life of all creatures, but
in reality the land entrusted to humans is not fully utilized properly
and is exploited as much as possible for wealth. Even the wealth
contained in the land is cleaned without any residue, so how much
longer can we survive. We all have to make each other aware of
the importance of using enough and maintaining the trust in our
mother’s land. In the brown work, the soil on our earth is fertile,
loose and clayey with a layer of rock underneath that contains a
lot of gold. Then the figure of a person raises a broomstick up to
the sky in a meaningful term (tumbak sewu) as a symbol to relieve
or move heavy rain so that it doesn’t become a flood or landslide
disaster due to our own greedy actions, because the rain is actually
       a blessing.
